A flight of condor, about 5,000 kilometers separate Mar del Plata to Lima. In 2012, the Dakar proposes a Pan American epic of more than 9000 kilometers in total. The layout online, leading to the rally of the Atlantic coast to the Pacific, allows transport participants to new territories, in a different America. The importance of the challenge also imposes a modification of the sports format, which this year includes 14 days of racing. Constantly guided by the Andes, the Atacama pilots reach, and experience in particular the diversity of dunes venturing to Peru.
